5. Payment Processing

In order to process payments online, we require the billing address for the credit card used and our external payment provider, PayPal, requires your credit card details. For details of how your information is used, please see section 7.

6. Blog Comments

In order to leave a comment in our Blog have to give us at least your Name and Email address. You can choose whether to post as yourself, or anonymously. We require name and email address even for anonymous posts for quality control purposes.

We do not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about you to any third party.

Unfortunately, due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

Payment Processing

We take online payments for our products or services. We use PayPal as our external payment provider. In addition to the information outlined above, we require the billing address of the credit card you use so that we can pass this to PayPal who check the address against the cardholder's details for security purposes. We store these billing details on our servers in case we need to contact you in the future regarding payments. PayPal requires that you provide your credit card details to process the transaction. This is done on a secure PayPal server using SSL (secure sockets layer). As you go through the transaction process, we will not inform you when you are about to be transferred to PayPal's servers for the secure transaction. These pages have the look and feel of the domconsultant.co.uk site as we use templates to keep as much of the domconsultant.co.uk branding as possible but you are actually on the PayPal servers and the information you submit goes to PayPal. After the transaction has been authorized, you are returned to the domconsultant.co.uk site. domconsultant.co.uk does not have any access to these credit card details and they are not stored or processed in any way by domconsultant.co.uk. In the case of a suspected fraudulent transaction, card details may be disclosed to domconsultant.co.uk by PayPal for the sole purpose of performing further checks. domconsultant.co.uk is not permitted to then retain these details. These details are stored securely by PayPal in order to process future payments you may make, but PayPal does not use your information for any other purpose.
